Honolulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann along with Governor Linda Lingle and rail tax supporting legislators spoke at a press conference yesterday (July 11) where the Governor indicated that she will let the GE tax increase pass into law without signing the enabling legislation. Small business owners and many of the Governor's core supporters were dismayed by the fact that she let this tax increase pass.
