It's full speed ahead for Hawaii Superferry after the Hawaii State Legislature passes a bill to get it sailing again. Superferry CEO John Gaibaldi (photo inset below) will be our SBH Sunrise speaker for this month.

Gene Simmons to Headline SBH's 32nd Annual Conference
Small Business Hawaii (SBH) is pleased to announce that the luncheon keynote speaker at the 32nd annual SBH Business and Investment Conference, Small Business 2008: Hawaiis Economic Tipping Point, will be rock musician legend, A&E television star and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Gene Simmons. (That's right, that Gene Simmons!) Seating and space is limited.
The conference will be at the Ala Moana Hotel, from 8 am to 2pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Advance registration is required.
Simmons who appears on many business programs regularly such as the recent Michael Eisner program on MSNBC, is a star of the hit A&E reality series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels. While known for his all star musical rock, zany makeup and that tongue Simmons is the consummate successful businessman with hundreds of Kiss related innovative products. He will share his entrepreneurial secrets and, Ten Points to Make You Rich Like Me.
In addition, a full crew of A&E television producers will be here to film two Hawaii episodes featuring Gene at the SBH conference , at our conference partner, JP Mariott Ihilani Resort in Koolina, and other island attractions. SBH Launches Tax Exempt 501(c)(3)
Entrepreneurial Educational Foundation
Small Business Hawaii (SBH) a 501(c)(6) non-profit incorporated in 1976 by Lex Brodie, announces the introduction of its new addition, the 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt Small Business Hawaii Entrepreneurial Education Foundation.
The mission of the new Foundation is to promote and provide entrepreneurial information, training education and scholarships through publications, radio & television, public meetings, conferences, seminars and an interactive website in Hawaii.
Initial programs and forums will be announced shortly.
