Rocker & Entrepreneur Gene Simmons Keynotes SBH's Annual Conference

Gene Simmons, rock musician (KISS legend), A & E television star of "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and entrepreneur investor, will keynote January's first of the year major business and investment conference, the SBH 32nd annual event.

The conference will be at the Ala Moana Hotel, from 8 am to 2 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Advance registration is required.

Simmons, who appears on numerous business programs regularly such as the recent Michael Eisner program on MSNBC, is a star of the hit A & E reality series, "Gene Simmons' Family Jewels."While known for his all star musical rock, zany makeup -- and that tongue -- Simmons is the consumate successful entrepreneur.

He will share his entrepreneurial secrets and give you, "Ten Points to Make You Rich Like Me."

Regular viewers to the TV series (especially the men!) will be happy to know that accompanying Gene will be the lovely Shannon Tweed and her sister Tracy.

An A & E television crew will be here to film two 30-minute Hawaii episodes featuring Gene Simmons at the SBH annual business conference , our conference partner, JP Mariott Ihilani Resort at Ko'olina, and other island sites.

Matsumoto Ends Year at SBH Sunrise

The final monthly Small Business Hawaii Sunrise Networking Breakfast of 2007 is, 7 am, Thursday, December 27, in the Pineapple Room, Macy's, Ala Moana Shopping Center.

Our featured speaker will be, Peter Matsumoto, of Premier Business Services, who will speak on, "Really Year-End Tax Strategies." This is a good opportunity for you to get valuable last minute tips.

In November, members and the public heard from The Hawaii Superferry President and CEO, John Garibaldi. He updated members and guests on the trials and travails of the Hawaii Superferry and its future plans.

Members at the SBH Sunrise enjoy a free exhibit area and personal introductions to boost their business.
