    Business Standing For Business -
    Governor's Mahalo for SBH

Governor Linda Lingle A special SBH Networking forum, “Business Standing for Business,” will be held Tuesday, June 28, at the Hale Koa Hotel in Waikiki, 10 am to 2 pm. It features a forum of top state officials who deal with business issues, and luncheon with the Governor who wants to thank Small Business Hawaii members for their strong support of her legislative initiatives.

Another purpose of the event is to build a stronger business coalition with organizations who stood tall (NFIB, RMH, ECC, HRA, HAR, etc.) — and consistent—against tax increases , more employer mandates and unreasonable regulations.

A panel (10:30 – noon) to answer your questions about your business will include Administration leaders, Nelson Befitel, Department of Labor & Industrial Relations; Ted Liu, Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism, and Mark Recktenwald, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. These most important agencies dealing with your business will talk with you!

At noon, enjoy a luncheon and special keynote of appreciation to SBH by Governor Linda Lingle. She won’t pull any punches and will tell it like it is to SBH, the organization that is consistent, committed, and concerned about our business climate.

Event sponsors will be recognized. (If you want to be a sponsor, contact Malia at 306-3161.)

Business exhibit area too! Cost is $50 for SBH members and their guests (in advance); $65 for non-members, and at the door, if space is available. Download the reservation form at this link and send it in with your payment today.
