Who will be this year's Small Business success stories? Find out by attending the 30th Annual Small Business Hawaii Conference on January 11.
30th Annual SBH Conference January 11
The 30th annual Small Business Hawaii conference, the years first business and investment conference will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2006 from 8 am to 2 pm at the Ala Moana Hotel.
Theme for next years SBH conference is, Small Business 2006: Leading by Example, Hawaiis Economic Revitalization.
Keynote speakers will be announced shortly.
Issues will include: Eminent Domain and Taxpayers Rights; a panel on Hawaiis Business Climate Update with Lingle Administration Cabinet leaders; Gas Caps & Consumer Protection; The Akaka Bills Impact on Small Business and Federal Small Business Issues Affecting Small Business.
There will also be the annual Small business Hawaii Success Stories, SBH Business Awards and as usual, special guests and surprise events.
Sponsorships are still available (contact Malia Zimmerman at 808-306-3161) and there will be the annual business and exhibit area as well as door prizes.

Restaurant Industry, Minimum Wage &
Tip Credit, Topic of December SBH Sunrise
Tom Jones of Gyotaku Japanese Restaurant, will speak on Hawaiis Restaurant Industry, Minimum Wage, & Tip Credit on Thursday, December 29, at the SBH Sunrise Networking Breakfast. The last meeting of 05 is in the Pineapple Room, Macys, Ala Moana.

Immediate past president of the Hawaii Restaurant Association (HRA), and curent chair of the HRA Government Relations Committee, Jones is a knowlegable spokesman for the industry.
