Goodbye Small Business Hawaii
by Amee Treadwell
December has rapidly come upon us & I will soon be moving to the beautiful, yet rainy, Pacific Northwest. I have chosen to relocate to the Seattle area to be closer to loved ones, pursue my career and continue my education. The choice to leave paradise was not easy, but I am happily anticipating my new adventure.
I can not thank Small Business Hawaii members & friends enough for being part of my wonderful experience here in Hawaii and with the Hawaii business community.
I have had an enlightening experience, to say the least, working with Sam, the SBH board & all of you. I am leaving the island with a much more thorough knowledge of the importance of small business, and the governments involvement or interference within the business community. I hope to continue my activism in promoting better business not only here in Hawaii, but throughout the nation.
Thank you all once again for such an amazing past year. I wish you all the best & much success. Please do not hesitate to send me an email at SBHamee@hotmail.com if you happen to be in the Seattle area. I will miss Hawaii greatly and I have no doubt I will be visiting SBH again in the not so distant future.
With Much Aloha and Mahalo!
