Wall Street Journal's John Fund
to Keynote Grassroot Dinner

As reported last month, the Wall Street Journal's award winning editorial writer, John Fund, will return to Hawaii (he was an SBH keynoter 3 years ago) on Friday, November 14, to speak at the Grassroot Institute of Hawaii's anniversary dinner. Fund is well known for his incisive political analysis. Several years ago he wrote a piece about Hawaii's flagging economy and political rule.

Next month he will update his previous research.

The Hawaii think tank is actually celebrating 3 years of service but this will be its first public celebration. An awards presentation will follow the dinner and speech. The event will be held at the Hale Koa Hotel, beginning at 6:30 pm. For more information and reservations, contact Richard Rowland at 864-1776, or the website, www.grassrootinstitute.org.
