Ratings of the 2001 Hawaii State Legislature

A complete rating of all 76 state legislators conducted annually by PAYCHECKS HAWAII, in conjunction with SBH, NFIB, the Chamber of Commerce, and other individuals, business and trade organizations, appears below. Ratings are based upon key business votes, conduct in hearings, accessibility, support or opposition of key measures, sponsorship and advocacy of business or labor measures, taxes, mandates and regulations. Lawmakers are rated from #1, "most supportive and outspoken advocate for a better business climate," to #5, "anti-business advocate."
